Requirements

What we're looking for

Engineering degree.
1-2 years of experience in an industrial environment, including internships, especially in production, industrialization, or maintenance.
Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement tools, and root cause analysis (5 Whys, Ishikawa).
Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, and indicators).
Ability to prepare technical documentation, procedures, and visual instructions.
Catalan and Spanish at a high or native level.
Minimum English level of B2.

We are looking for a decisive, organized person with initiative, with the ability to work in a team and relate to different departments. It will be important to have a practical orientation, an interest in learning processes directly on the plant floor, and a desire to take on new challenges.

Nice to have

We value additional training in industrial organization, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement.
We value knowledge of electricity, mechanics, and the interpretation of blueprints and electrical diagrams.
We value experience with AutoCAD and familiarity with ERP, MES, or CMMS systems.

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a company in the industrial sector looking to hire a JUNIOR INDUSTRIALIZATION AND MAINTENANCE ENGINEER to provide support to the production, industrialization, and maintenance area.

We are looking for a person with an engineering background, an interest in production processes, and a desire to develop professionally within an industrial environment, participating in continuous improvement projects and process optimization.

What you'll do

Provide support for the industrialization and continuous improvement of production processes, as well as collaborate in the coordination and monitoring of facility maintenance. Progressively, you will take on small improvement actions and projects, gaining autonomy and responsibility.

Prepare and update technical documentation for production processes, work instructions, procedures, and plant records.
Participate in the definition, implementation, and monitoring of new production processes.
Analyze production methods and times, identifying possible bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
Collect and analyze production data and indicators to improve efficiency and productivity.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, visual management, and standardization).
Collaborate on small improvement and industrialization projects, monitoring technical offers, costs, suppliers, and deadlines.
Provide support in resolving production incidents and in analyzing their causes.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams in the implementation of corrective actions.
Support the coordination of suppliers and external maintenance companies.
Perform the monitoring and updating of preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
Participate in the implementation and improvement of industrial management systems (ERP, MES, or CMMS).
