At Meliá Casa de las Artes we are looking for a committed, dynamic, and detail-oriented Valet to join the Housekeeping team. Their main mission will be to support the Floors department, ensuring that room attendants have everything necessary to offer an exceptional experience to our guests.

What you'll do

  • Check room supplies and replenish missing items, following the standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with the room attendants and with the other departments.
  • Address the needs or concerns of guests.
  • Provide materials to the housekeepers or to guests, such as pillows, duvets, and bedspreads.
  • Keep the guest room hallways clean and tidy.
  • Prepare the housekeeping closets with the necessary supplies and keep them organized according to daily needs.
  • Check for any technical or safety issues in the room and report them to maintenance.
  • Deliver and collect items loaned to guests, such as irons and ironing boards.
  • Ensure a steady supply of clean linen to the assigned offices or areas.
  • Remove soiled linen from guest floors, ensuring it is not mixed with clean linen to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Receive laundry orders and keep track of them as needed.
  • Remove trash from offices, carts, or guest rooms as required or upon request.
