What we're looking for

A senior profile with +8 years of experience as a Manager
University degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar.
Experience: +10 years of experience in consulting or in leading companies, in roles linked to data strategy, governance, and management.
Previous experience in leadership positions (CDO or similar), with the capacity to manage technological teams of a certain size (>30 people).
Deep knowledge of the disciplines of Data Governance, Data Management, Quality, Lineage, and Data Security, as well as associated tools.
A solid network of contacts and experience in relation to technology partners and data ecosystems.
Ability to combine a strategic and commercial vision with technical and operational knowledge.
Experience in AI and Generative AI applied to data management and governance.
Recognized presence or visibility in the market, with participation in events, communities, or publications in the Data & AI field.
Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
High level of English.
Availability to travel and move frequently.

The role

We are looking for a Data Strategy & Governance Manager in Barcelona or Madrid.

You will be responsible for driving data strategy and its governance, defining the organizational and management model that maximizes the value of information within the company. You will lead the implementation of Data Management tools and frameworks (including quality, lineage, glossary, and security) ensuring their alignment with business objectives. You will drive the evolution of data and artificial intelligence capabilities, integrating both disciplines transversally and with an impact-oriented approach.

Define and drive the company's data strategy and governance ensuring its alignment with business objectives.
Lead the implementation of Data Management tools and frameworks, including MDM, lineage, glossaries, quality, and data security.
Develop and position our value proposition in data strategy and governance, with a focus on innovation and evolution towards AI and Generative AI.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners (Informatica, Collibra, Microsoft, AWS, GCP, among others).
Participate in large-scale projects in the fields of data, AI, and digital transformation, providing strategic vision and execution capability.
Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams of more than 60 people distributed across different locations (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, Bilbao).
Represent the organization in leading forums and communities (DAMAC, Club CDO, congresses, industry events).
Drive the data culture within and outside the organization.
