What we're looking for

  • Consolidated experience leading business units, centers, commercial areas, or operations with comprehensive responsibility for results.
  • Track record of leading large and multidisciplinary teams through managers, with a focus on performance, talent development, and succession.
  • Solid knowledge of P&L, budget, and forecasting, with experience managing sales, margin, costs, profitability, productivity, cash flow, and stock.

Your mission will primarily be to comprehensively lead the business of the area, driving the sustainable growth of customers, sales and profitability through the commercial strategy, operational excellence and the development of high-performance teams. You will turn the company's strategy into tangible results, guaranteeing a differential customer experience, an efficient operation and effective collaboration between the different business channels.

What you'll do

  • You will define and implement the commercial strategy of the area, analyzing the market, the competition, and growth opportunities.
  • You will drive the acquisition, loyalty, and multichannel development of customers, maximizing the potential of all sales channels.
  • You will manage the P&L, ensuring sales, margin, profitability, productivity, and cash generation objectives.
  • You will make decisions based on business, customer, and market indicators, identifying opportunities and correcting deviations.
  • You will guarantee operational excellence, product availability, quality, efficient stock management, and service levels.
  • You will lead the coordination between operations, sales, and the logistics platform, as well as the evolution of the multichannel operating model and transformation initiatives.
  • You will develop the management team, promoting a culture of high performance, responsibility, customer orientation, engagement, and internal succession.
  • You will build solid relationships with strategic customers, institutions, and relevant local market players, representing Makro and strengthening its positioning.
