R&D&I Tax Incentives Consultant

We are looking for a professional to help a major technology client obtain economic benefits for their innovation and R&D activities, whether through tax incentives, grants, or public subsidies.

• Identify R&D projects
  • Analyze whether a company's projects meet the legal requirements to be considered R&D or technological innovation.
• Coordinate information gathering
  • Speak with technical, engineering, product, IT, finance, and HR teams.
• Manage documentation
  • Prepare technical and economic reports.
  • Gather evidence for audits and inspections.
• Calculate incentives
  • Estimate tax savings or potential funding.
• Manage stakeholders
  • Collaborate with tax advisors, consultancies, auditors, and financial management.
• Project monitoring
  • Control deadlines, deliverables, risks, and reporting.

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration and Management, Economics, or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the areas of finance, tax incentives, public funding, or consulting.
• Fluent level of English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Intermediate or advanced level of Microsoft Excel, experience in data management, and good communication skills.
• Knowledge of:
  • Social Security bonuses for R&D in Spain.
  • Tax deductions for R&D (Spain/United Kingdom).
  • Digital transformation or technology projects.
• Project management and organizational skills, data analysis, and schedule management.
• Experience in process change management and process automation.
• Security and confidence to collaborate closely with Professional Services/People teams, tax advisors, management, and other key interlocutors.
