Food company seeks to hire an Industrial Controller

Industrial Controller
Food company located in Guadalajara

What you'll do

Budget: Collaborate with management to prepare the annual budget, ensuring it reflects strategic and operational objectives.
Provide support to management on investments, cost reductions, or new production lines.
Financial Forecasting: Prepare long-term financial forecasts to anticipate capital and resource needs (expansion plans).
Help prepare a 3-year "Master Plan" for Torija.

Budget Control

Budget Monitoring: Monitor budget compliance, identifying and explaining significant variances.
Generate periodic reports on budget variances.
Propose corrective measures for variances.
Provide timely and reliable information for plant management decision-making.
Control and audit inventories.

Cost and Profitability Analysis

Cost Breakdowns: Define criteria and keep cost breakdowns for the transformation division updated.
Analyze and control production costs (raw materials, labor, energy, depreciation, etc.)
Profitability Analysis: Calculate and analyze production costs, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.
End-to-End Margin.

KPI Implementation and Monitoring

Indicator Development: Define and implement key performance indicators (efficiency, OEE, unit costs, margin per line, etc.).
KPI Analysis: Analyze KPIs and provide recommendations for improvement.

Process Optimization

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities through process engineering to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs by reviewing processes and procedures.

Project Management

Project Evaluation: Analyze the financial viability of new projects, including the necessary investment and expected return.
Project Control: Monitor the financial progress of ongoing projects, ensuring they stay within budget and established timelines.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

The selected candidate should meet the following requirements:

Education in Business Administration and/or Economics
Minimum of 4 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience working in an industrial plant
Highly valued experience in the food sector
Proficiency in Excel
