About the role

Mission of the Plant Management Controller:
This is a newly created position whose first mission will be to build the entire industrial controlling area from scratch, together with the Industrial Director and the Financial Director. Once this first mission is completed, you will be responsible for ensuring that plant costs are controlled and aligned with the company's objectives, improving the profitability and efficiency of production processes. You will be the person responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing costs associated with production, ensuring that operating costs remain within established margins, always seeking efficiency and profitability in production processes. In addition, you will participate in transformation and digitalization projects. What you'll do

- Creation of the industrial controlling area, together with the Industrial Director and the Financial Director.
- Control and monitoring of plant costs: Monitor and control direct and indirect production costs at the plant (raw materials, energy, labor, maintenance, etc.).
- Analyze cost variances against budgets and propose corrective measures.
- Resource optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or process efficiency. Work with operational departments to implement process improvements and reduce inefficiencies.
- Preparation of reports and analyses: Prepare detailed financial reports on the evolution of plant costs, profit margins, and other relevant KPIs. Carry out forecasts and profitability analyses in the short and long term.
- Support for decision-making: Provide accurate and detailed information to management to support strategic decisions on investments, new projects, or operational adjustments.
- Cost reduction project management: Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
- Coordination with other departments: Coordinate with the financial manager to carry out follow-ups and prioritize needs.

- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Industrial Engineering. Postgraduate studies or additional training in Industrial Organization or Management Control will be valued.

- Solid knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, budgets, and management control in industrial plants.
- Ability to manage large volumes of data and draw relevant conclusions.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, SAP (or other ERP systems), and Power BI.
