Supply Chain Director

We are looking for a Supply Chain Director to lead the comprehensive management of the supply chain, ensuring the availability of raw materials and finished products in an efficient, reliable, and competitive manner.

Procurement and purchasing management

• Translate the demand and production plan into procurement needs for raw materials and finished products.
• Design, optimize, and execute procurement processes, ensuring adequate stock levels, competitive costs, and compliance with deadlines.
• Negotiate and review purchase contracts, logistics services, and transportation.
• Periodically evaluate suppliers and manufacturers using service, quality, cost, and delivery compliance indicators.
• Anticipate supply risks, avoiding cost overruns and potential production stoppages.

Sourcing and production outsourcing management

• Carry out the search, qualification, and approval of external producers.
• Develop an alternative portfolio of manufacturers by product family, diversifying risks and capabilities.
• Lead the outsourcing of production, ensuring the transfer of specifications, validation of samples, remote quality control, monitoring of deadlines, and compliance with standards.
• Prepare analysis by reference, assessing cost, capacity, risk, and flexibility.
• Manage the three supply flows in an integrated manner: raw materials for internal production, purchase of finished products, and outsourced production.

Warehouse, logistics, and stock control

• Coordinate international import logistics.
• Manage stock levels, inventory reliability, and warehouse processes.
• Lead the transition to the automated warehouse and its integration with current processes.
• Promote digital tools and processes that enable greater traceability and control.

Continuous improvement and digitalization

• Define, document, and implement standardized processes for purchasing, logistics, and inventory control.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in deadlines, costs, efficiency, and quality of service.
• Promote a culture of data, indicators, and decision-making based on reliable information.

Interdepartmental relations and leadership

• Coordinate with Product, Planning, Production, Finance, Quality, and General Management.
• Ensure proper alignment between commercial needs, production planning, and supply capacity.
• Lead an initial team of 4 people, with expected growth.
• Report directly to General Management.

Schedule

Usual schedule from Monday to Friday:

• From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with flexibility.

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Degree in Industrial Organization Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics, Planning, or international supplier management positions.
• Experience in the textile, apparel, fashion, sports, or related industries is valued.
• Experience in international sourcing, supplier qualification, management of external manufacturers, and industrial outsourcing.
• Knowledge of processes, stock control, international logistics, and process improvement.
• Advanced level of English, both oral and written, for communication with international suppliers and manufacturers.
• Leadership, planning, negotiation, and results-oriented skills.
