The role

A multinational company in the automotive sector is seeking, for one of its plants located in Vallès, an Innovation Engineer for injection-molded plastic parts.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Innovation Manager, the role will be responsible for:

Opportunity exploration: Identifying innovation opportunities through trend analysis, benchmarking, customer needs, and new technologies.
Solution conceptualization: Generating and developing innovative concepts using creativity methodologies and analytical thinking, aligned with the business strategy.
Problem solving: Addressing technical challenges under uncertainty, formulating hypotheses, prioritizing experiments, and making evidence-based decisions.
Engineering and development: Designing solutions in 3D CAD, developing components and systems compatible with manufacturing processes, especially in plastic materials.
Prototyping and validation: Developing and validating concepts through physical and virtual prototypes, simulations, and functional tests to accelerate learning and reduce risks.
Technology research: Evaluating new materials, processes, and technologies for application in innovative products and solutions.
Innovation culture: Driving experimentation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, promoting the generation and adoption of new ideas. Working jointly with clients and multidisciplinary teams to understand needs, turn challenges into opportunities, and develop high-value solutions.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

Degree in Industrial Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar university education

Advanced English level

More than 3 years of experience in conceptualization, design, and development of plastic products or components for the automotive sector, participating in concept generation, technical validation, and industrialization of innovative solutions.

Dynamic, creative profile with a desire to be part of a high-performance environment.
