What do you need to make the match?

Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Profiles in Materials Engineering, Aeronautics, or Chemistry will be valued.
3–5 years as a Product Engineer (ideally in automotive).
Experience in the design and development of decorative or functional plastic injection parts, with aesthetic sensitivity.
Knowledge of injection molds and associated processes.
Having participated in projects with OEMs.
International experience and working in multidisciplinary environments will be valued.
Tool: CATIA V5.
Understanding of plastic material requirements, fits, tolerances, and surface aesthetics.

We are looking to match with a Product Engineer for a leading multinational company in the development and manufacturing of decorative and functional plastic components for the automotive industry.

This is a key position within the engineering team, with a high technical component, client contact, and cross-functional collaboration with Project Managers, CAD designers, simulation (CAE), and tooling.

What you'll do

Lead the technical development of parts from the quotation phase to their final validation.
Be the technical person responsible for the product, acting as the interlocutor with the client (OEM).
Coordinate work with CAD designers.
Define mold requirements and coordinate with the Tooling department and external Molds.
Lead the design DFMEA.
Collaborate with the CAE area to request and analyze necessary simulations.
Ensure the technical, aesthetic, and functional feasibility of the product according to client specifications.
Participate in quotation and process analysis meetings, together with the PM and sales team.
Provide support in laboratory testing, first sample reviews, and injection validations.
Spanish: high level.
English: high level (essential).
Other languages: valuable.
