Requirements

What we're looking for

Mechanical engineering or higher degree in mechanical design.
Experience in designing plastic parts for injection molding is essential.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar software.
Solid knowledge of tolerances, fits, and dimension chains.
Experience working with injection molds (problem-solving skills valued).
Technical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused profile.

The role

At RDT we are looking for a Designer with experience in designing plastic parts for injection molding processes, to join our team to work on optimizing and adapting existing products.

What you'll do

Adaptation and redesign of plastic parts for injection molding.
Review and optimization of existing designs.
Analysis of issues in current molds and proposal of improvements.
Management of tolerances and definition of dimension chains.
Collaboration with the production area to ensure technical feasibility.
Preparation of technical documentation and drawings.
