The role

Reporting to the Production Director, as a Molding Process Engineer in the Medical Devices sector, you will be responsible for ensuring the capacity and stability of production processes, driving cost reduction initiatives, and leading continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing unit at the plant in the northern area of Madrid.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for:

Implementing and maintaining processes within the manufacturing unit.

Identifying critical machinery parameters and establishing operational standards.

Developing and transferring technical knowledge to operators and plant technicians.

Training and supporting teams in continuous improvement methodologies.

Analyzing main production losses and implementing actions to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Managing change controls, including validation activities, root cause analysis of OEE losses, and quality incidents.

Participating in the start-up and commissioning of injection molding equipment.

Actively collaborating in resolving automatic machinery incidents.

Managing assigned projects and preparing technical documentation and specifications.

Leading validation processes and start-up of production equipment.

Participating in automation projects for manufacturing, management, and reporting processes.

Collaborating in the acquisition and implementation of new production equipment.
