What you'll do

Reporting to the Plant Management, you will manage a team of internal technicians and specialized external suppliers.

Main responsibilities

  1. Maintenance management
  • Plan, organize, and supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for all plant equipment.
  • Ensure the availability of critical machinery:
    pasteurizers, curding vats, tanks, CIP systems, cold rooms, molds, cutting and packaging lines
  • Control and ensure the proper operation of auxiliary services: boilers, compressed air, industrial refrigeration, steam, process water, wastewater treatment, and energy.
  • Coordinate emergency interventions to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Coordinate the plant's OT/IT infrastructure, ensuring the proper operation of servers, networks, SCADA systems, and PLCs.

  • Manage the internal maintenance technician team (mechanical, electrical, electromechanical).
  • Organize shifts, priorities, and workloads.
  • Ensure continuous training of the team in technical, safety, and hygiene aspects.
  • Promote a corporate culture within the teams.
  1. Regulatory compliance and quality
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with IFS, BRC, ISO 22000 standards, HACCP, and legal health requirements.

  • Control the stock of critical spare parts and consumables.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with external technical service providers.

  • Drive failure analysis (FMEA, RCA) to reduce recurring failures.
  • Propose improvements in productivity, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Lead projects for renovation, expansion, and commissioning of new lines or equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, safe maintenance of installations, and lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Supervise installations with risk: explosive atmospheres, confined spaces, cold atmospheres, steam, chemical products, moving equipment.
  • Coordinate actions related to sustainability and energy efficiency.

Education

  • Maintenance of food processing machinery.
