The role

A leading company in the cosmetics sector is looking for a Logistics (Transport) Manager to expand its team at its headquarters in Vallès Occidental.

What you'll do

Plan and coordinate national and international shipments.
Organize daily truck and container loads, optimizing routes, times, and costs.
Coordinate and maintain relationships with transportation companies, freight forwarders, and logistics operators, negotiating the best conditions.
Prepare, review, and manage all necessary documentation for exports (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs documentation, etc.).
Track shipments, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
Resolve logistics issues related to carriers, customs, and clients.
Coordinate shipments with the Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Administration, and Commercial departments.
Supervise the correct preparation of orders and loads.
Optimize transportation costs through load consolidation and continuous improvement of logistics processes.
Manage relationships with logistics providers and evaluate their performance.
Control key service indicators (delivery times, incidents, logistics costs, service level, etc.).
Propose and implement improvements in logistics and distribution processes.
Ensure compliance with current regulations applicable to national and international transport.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in industrial companies or with export activity.
Experience in managing national and international transportation.
Knowledge of foreign trade and export documentation.
Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, transportation agencies, and logistics operators.
Knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international document management.
A high level of English, both spoken and written, will be valued.
Proficiency in office tools and experience working with ERP management software.
Ability to plan, organize, and resolve incidents.
Good negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and clients.
Organized, resolute, proactive, and results-oriented person.
