The role

We are looking for a Treasurer for a renewable energy company located in Madrid. The professional will be responsible for the financial and treasury management of the organization.

What you'll do

Manage the daily banking operations of the parent company and subsidiaries, ensuring the correct execution of payments, collections, and the availability of funds.
Define and optimize treasury and payment procedures, guaranteeing controls, approvals, and process automation.
Ensure the security of the payment circuit through preventive controls, reconciliations, and anti-fraud measures.
Coordinate the group's treasury planning, including liquidity forecasting, intercompany financing, and cash pooling management.
Prepare and report the group's consolidated treasury position, driving automation and continuous improvement of reports.
Supervise the documentation and approvals associated with payments, collections, and financial operations, guaranteeing compliance with internal procedures.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration and Management, or similar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate treasury positions, preferably in international groups with multiple companies.
Demonstrable experience in banking management in Spain; experience in treasury management with foreign subsidiaries (international banking, multi-currency, local foreign exchange control regulations) will be very positively valued.
Experience in the design and implementation of internal controls and payment procedures (segregation of duties, double validation, fraud prevention).
Advanced level of Excel.
High level of English.
