What we're looking for

Degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Finance, or similar.
Previous experience in a tax accounting position within a professional firm or consultancy.
Solid knowledge of accounting and Spanish tax regulations.
Experience in the preparation and filing of taxes.
Proficiency in accounting and tax management software, preferably A3, Sage, or others similar.
Proficiency in Excel and office tools.
Organized, methodical, and proactive person with the ability to manage different clients simultaneously.
Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.

The role

As a Tax Accountant in Barcelona, you will manage accounting and tax tasks within the Accounting & Finance area of a company in the professional services sector.

What you'll do

Accounting management of a client portfolio, mainly corporations.
Recording and accounting of issued and received invoices, banks, amortizations, and accounting entries.
Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings.
Preparation and filing of taxes: VAT, IRPF, Corporate Tax, and withholdings.
Preparation and filing of periodic and informative tax returns.
Preparation and closing of annual accounts and legalization of accounting books.
Bank reconciliations and review of balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
Attention and resolution of accounting and tax inquiries from clients.
Monitoring of tax and accounting deadlines for the assigned portfolio.
Coordination with the rest of the firm's team to ensure correct client management.
