Environment and Quality Technician

We are looking for a Senior Environment and Quality Technician for Europe to lead and coordinate the Integrated Quality and Environment Management System across the group's various European plants. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring environmental legal compliance, maintaining corporate certifications, driving sustainability projects, and promoting continuous improvement in operations.

Reporting to the Prevention, Quality, and Environment Manager, the selected candidate will take responsibility for ensuring the correct implementation and evolution of the Integrated Quality and Environment Management System across Europe.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance with applicable environmental legislation at the plants under their responsibility, monitoring legal requirements, permits, and regulatory obligations.
• Overseeing comprehensive waste management, ensuring proper documentation traceability and compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
• Coordinating and analyzing environmental monitoring programs, identifying risks, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
• Driving sustainability, circular economy, and environmental impact reduction initiatives, promoting best practices across all group plants.
• Designing and delivering environmental training and awareness programs for the various groups within the organization.
• Maintaining and improving management systems based on ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, actively participating in internal and external audits.
• Managing non-conformities, coordinating root cause analyses, and ensuring the effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Preparing periodic environmental and quality performance reports, providing technical support and coordination to the various European plants.
