What you'll do

- Strategy and Expansion: Define the short, medium, and long-term territorial plan. Make decisions regarding expansion, transformation, or closure of points of sale based on exhaustive market analysis (B2B and B2C focus).
- Profitability and Network Management: Monitor contribution margins, leading cross-functional action plans to optimize the profitability of low-performing centers and ensuring operational flexibility (CODO, DOCO, etc.).
- Investments and Real Estate: Manage the expansion budget, develop solid business cases (evaluating ROI and payback), and define the real estate strategy alongside local partners.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Act as a strategic link between General Management, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and external partners, fostering an annual Succession Plan for key centers.

Good to know if you are moving

  • Michelin offers structured graduate programs (Prácticas Universitarias) in several Spanish plants, which are a common entry point for international students and recent graduates.
  • The Spanish operations are part of Michelin's global manufacturing network, meaning engineers and technical managers can transfer within the group across countries.
  • Positions in Spain are often in industrial plants (Aranda de Duero, Valladolid, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Lasarte-Oria), so candidates should be open to living in mid-sized cities rather than Madrid or Barcelona.
  • The company provides a formal, corporate environment with a strong focus on safety (prevención de riesgos laborales) and continuous improvement, which suits professionals from structured manufacturing backgrounds.
  • Working language in the Spanish plants is predominantly Spanish, so a working level of Spanish is a practical requirement for day-to-day integration.
