MTorres is looking for a purchasing engineer for its Fuente Álamo plant to reinforce the team as a whole.

MTorres Fuente Álamo seeks to incorporate a purchasing engineer whose mission would be to obtain and secure the supplies of the assigned project materials within the required timeframe, cost, and quality level through the search, selection, and management of suppliers.

What you'll do

Reporting to the person responsible for the department, their activity will focus on:

Working with the costing manager in the definition and execution of the purchasing strategy per project
Identifying and materializing cost reduction opportunities to meet the set objectives, taking into account the total cost of procurement.
Maintaining an adequate supplier panel (in terms of capacity and risk level) for the Company's needs.
Participating in the evaluation of suppliers and adapting the panel according to the performance level established in the KPIs
Negotiating and making agreements according to purchasing objectives
Executing orders in a timely and proper manner according to the MRP and the prioritization established by the area management
Periodically reviewing the commercial relationship with main suppliers (periodic business review meetings)
