The role

We are looking for an Accounting-Tax Technician to work in an important company in the Technology and Telecommunications sector in Madrid (Alcobendas). The position requires experience in accounting and solid knowledge in the financial area.

What you'll do

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:

Recording and accounting of daily accounting operations.
Management and control of customer and supplier invoicing.
Management of the Immediate Supply of Information (SII) and monitoring of associated tax obligations.
Preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and financial reports.
Performance and supervision of bank reconciliations.
Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings.
Preparation, review, and filing of taxes, especially those related to VAT, as well as other tax obligations.
Ensuring compliance with current accounting and tax regulations.
Collaboration in internal and external audits, facilitating the required documentation.
Identification and implementation of improvements in accounting processes and procedures.
Regular use of ERP tools for accounting management; previous experience with Sage is highly valued.
