What we're looking for

TRAINING: Technical University Degree or Higher Technician in Facilities Maintenance, Electricity, or HVAC with equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years in comprehensive building maintenance, preferably in residences, student halls, hotels, hospitals, or public-use buildings. Experience in the direction of works, renovations, and space adaptation is valued.
KNOWLEDGE: Regulations for installations and regulatory inspections (RITE, REBT, RIPCI, legionella, elevators). Occupational Safety and Health. Management of suppliers and contractors.
COMPETENCIES: Versatility and a problem-solving profile, service attitude, planning and organization, decision-making capacity, autonomy, negotiation with suppliers, and teamwork.

Nice to have

TOOLS: Proficiency in CMMS and AutoCAD is valued.

The role

We are looking to permanently hire a General Services Manager for Residencias Nebrija.

What you'll do

Comprehensive management of the Residencias' infrastructure and facilities, guaranteeing their correct state, operability, and safety.
Planning of preventive and corrective maintenance (electricity, plumbing, HVAC, DHW, fire protection, elevators, carpentry, etc.), with the recording and monitoring of incidents until their resolution.
Rigorous control of regulatory inspections (OCA, legionella, fire protection, elevators, low voltage, etc.): calendar, documentation, and rectification of deficiencies.
Direction and supervision of minor works, renovations, and space adaptation (rooms and common areas), balancing them with the activity of the Residencias.
Management of suppliers and staff (maintenance, cleaning, security...): budgets, contracting, service quality control, and billing follow-up.
Coordination of general services: furniture and equipment, warehouses, signage, and logistical support for events.
Control of the maintenance budget and periodic reporting to management.
Collaboration in self-protection plans, emergencies, OSH, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
