About the Position 

From Nestlé Spain, specifically from the Girona Factory, we are looking for people with a passion for growing, learning, and being part of the project team, working on real projects with concrete objectives. 

What you'll do

What will your responsibilities be? 

  • Lead or participate in projects (system design, development, commissioning, and monitoring) and work in coordination with Manufacturing, Quality, Electrical, Automation, General Services, Maintenance staff, etc. 

  • Coordinate the installation of different machinery with Production and Maintenance so that facilities meet established needs. 

  • Supervise the work carried out by installation companies to ensure safety standards are met and that work is performed according to the specifications agreed upon at the time of contracting with external companies. 

  • Ensure that the scheduled times in the work plans are met. 

  • Request quotes from external suppliers for installations or materials, according to previously agreed specifications; compare received quotes and, after detailed review, propose the most suitable supplier.

  • Provide support to the maintenance and manufacturing teams in day-to-day factory issues. 

  • Manage project documents, monitor changes and updates, and prepare the necessary material for training users and maintainers of the facilities (Maintenance Plans, required spare parts, etc.). 

  • Develop Change Management before, during, and after its execution. 

  • Implement the detailed operation of the facilities regarding Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation. 

    • Monitor compliance with workplace safety standards. 

    • Distribution of electrical loads in transformer installations and distribution panels. 

    • Control of electrical diagrams, control loops, and technical documentation. 

    • When required, develop/optimize control programs in PLCs. 

  • Propose the execution of modifications and improvements that may be of interest to the factory, within their area of responsibility. 

What we're looking for

Requirements: 

  • University degree in Industrial Electronic and Automatic Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering 

  • Valuable experience in Rockwell Studio5000 PLC programming 

  • Valuable experience in AVEVA Intouch System Platform SCADA programming 

  • Valuable experience in configuring frequency drives / servomotors 

  • Valuable experience in configuring networks and automation devices (Ethernet IP) 

  • Ability to interpret electrical diagrams effectively 

  • Valuable high level of English 

  • Excellent communication skills and results orientation.
