Maintenance Manager

• At least 3-4 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a hotel/service sector of similar size and complexity.
• Vocational training (electricity and electronics, HVAC, industrial maintenance, and related fields).
• Experience in Project Management
• Excellent command of the local language is required, and knowledge of English is highly valued.
• Knowledge of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical and electronic systems.
• Practical knowledge of various computer programs (Microsoft Office). SAP, GMAO/CMMS (maintenance management software), BMS (building management system), etc.
• Result-oriented and detail-oriented.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the hotel, all legal inspections, and the administrative/management tasks related to the facilities.
You will also manage external maintenance companies and the hotel's maintenance department.

• Coordinate and supervise the preventive maintenance of hotel equipment and facilities, in accordance with the company's responsibilities.
• Organize routine maintenance in guest rooms, lobbies, and hotel facilities, ensuring that safety management is properly established to reduce the risk of accidents or incidents.
• Frequently organize hotel inspections to ensure that the infrastructure and grounds reach the expected conditions.
• Manage contracts with external maintenance providers and supervise the quality of the service provided.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, such as the fire prevention office and suppliers.
• Develop project plans and proposals, evaluating the budget, schedule, team, information, and regulations.
• Control and monitor energy consumption and maintenance costs, for example, water and electricity.
• Study and apply ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy.
• Ensure that guest incidents and problems are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Coordinate the department's objectives and activities with the rest of the department heads, exchanging knowledge and information about each area.
• Responsible for the management and coordination of the maintenance team, ensuring correct and collaborative teamwork.
