The role
The Legal & Compliance Intern will be based in Madrid, European Headquarters, and will be part of the European Legal team, reporting to the European Legal Manager.
What you'll do
The selected intern will support the European Legal and Compliance team, gaining practical exposure to an international legal and compliance function and contributing to the preparation, organisation and follow-up of key projects and initiatives. Responsibilities include:
- Support the review, organisation and follow-up of contracts and other legal documentation.
- Support compliance initiatives, including awareness campaigns, training materials, policy communications and internal questionnaires.
- Assist with legal support in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects, including due diligence activities, document review and post-acquisition integration matters.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of corporate governance documentation.
- Assist in the legal and compliance review of AI-related initiatives.
- Help coordinate information and documentation with colleagues across different European countries and business functions.
