About the role

We are currently looking to bring on board a profile for the role of Operations Excellence Manager for our offices in Coslada (Madrid) or Barcelona.

In this project, you will have the opportunity to lead continuous improvement of Contract Logistics operations across all sites, ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, process standardization, and successful onboarding of new clients. You will be the reference for productivity, cost models, and the implementation of Lean methodologies within the organization.

What you'll do

  • Standardization and operational control:

Review, define, and optimize operational processes.

Ensure consistency across sites through best practices.

Detect deviations and propose action plans.

  • Cost Model management:

Build and maintain cost models per client.

Validate cost structures (fixed, variable, and indirect).

Align productivity, staffing levels, and pricing.

Collaborate with the commercial team on complex bids.

  • Productivity and operational studies:

Design time, method, and productivity studies.

Analyze key processes (picking, packing, inbound, etc.).

Validate theoretical vs. actual standards and generate internal benchmarks.

  • KPIs & Performance Management:

Define and monitor indicators (productivity, volume, OTIF, SLA).

Create dashboards and reports for management.

Identify deviations and activate corrective plans.

  • Lean Management & Continuous Improvement:

Implement Lean methodology across sites.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Foster a culture of operational excellence.

  • New operations start-ups:

Participate in the design of new projects.

Support on-site start-ups and ensure their stabilization.

  • Cross-functional support to operations:

Collaborate with Site Managers and Distribution Management.

Provide support on critical incidents.

Identify opportunities for optimization across sites.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 6-8+ years of experience in logistics operations or warehouse management.

• Experience in operational transformation and improvement projects.

• Advanced English (other languages are a plus).

Technical skills:

• WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).

• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

• KPI management and data analysis.

• Demand planning and supply chain.
