About the role

We are currently looking to hire an Airfreight Perishable Manager for our offices in Coslada (Madrid).

This is an excellent opportunity for a person with extensive experience in the Perishable Air Cargo Department, who is eager to develop in a highly dynamic and international sector such as logistics.

What you'll do

• Creation and consolidation of an air freight department specialized in perishable goods, with or without temperature control.

• Achieve service excellence by resolving incidents and ensuring continuous improvement.

• Maintain constant communication with the client portfolio.

• Ensure compliance with the margin policy.

• Follow up on quotes sent to clients in your portfolio, acting as the point of contact for clients and negotiating space/rates.

• Analyze and maximize the profitability of each quote/shipment managed.

• Comply with internal and common procedures, including the proper use of the system.

• Manage perishable imports, exports, and transit operations.

• Ensure cold chain maintenance and KPI control.

• Coordinate with airlines, handling agents, warehouses, and transporters.

• Implement SOPs and ensure IATA PCR/TCR compliance.

• Supervise and train operational teams.

What we're looking for

  • Education in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, Air Transport, or similar.
  • 3–5 years of experience in air cargo operations, ideally in perishables.
  • Experience coordinating with airlines and handling terminals.
  • Knowledge of temperature-sensitive products (agro, food, flowers).
  • Valued certifications: IATA PCR, TCR, HACCP, ISO 22000.
  • Minimum English level B2 (international environment).
  • Develop a client portfolio in the perishable sector.
  • Organized, consistent, and rigorous person.
