Operations Specialist

Novicap is a comprehensive working capital solutions provider focused on enabling CFOs/finance teams of SMEs to pay their suppliers and collect from their customers. This includes short-term credit (factoring, supply chain finance, and loans) and payment automation solutions.

With offices in Barcelona and Madrid, we are currently looking for an Operations Specialist who wants to join our team in Barcelona. You will help us market our credit and technology solutions to SMEs and mid-market companies in Spain.

As we have already mentioned, your main mission will be to act as the direct point of contact and reference for clients and suppliers, ensuring both daily efficiency and an excellent experience, always safeguarding the security of our operations.

To achieve your mission, you will:

• Be the main point of contact for clients in managing, operating, and resolving their day-to-day financing.

• Provide direct and guided support to our clients' suppliers, making supply chain financing operations as easy as possible.

• Review and ensure that all client documentation is always up to date and compliant with our standards.

• Ensure the best client experience, balancing excellent service with the strict application of internal procedures to protect the company and avoid operational risks.

• Coordinate and collaborate closely with other key areas (such as risk, legal, or collections) to ensure that every operation flows without friction.

• You have a degree in Business Administration or another relevant field

• You have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in banking or financial services

• You have strong analytical skills and are responsible, organized, and accurate in your work

• You work well in a team; you are flexible, energetic, and able to thrive in a fast-changing environment

• You present yourself as a proactive and results-oriented person

• You are not afraid to think and look beyond to solve problems

• You are eager to learn and develop professionally

• You are a dedicated problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills

• You have strong writing skills, knowing how to clearly express your ideas in writing

• You have project coordination skills - delivering results on time while working with cross-functional teams

Como ya hemos dicho, tu misión principal será actuar como el punto de contacto directo y de referencia para clientes y proveedores, asegurando tanto la eficiencia diaria como una experiencia excelente, siempre velando por la seguridad de nuestras operaciones.

Para lograr tu misión, harás:

• Ser el punto de contacto principal para los clientes en la gestión, operativa y resolución de sus financiaciones del día a día.

• Dar apoyo directo y guiado a los proveedores de nuestros clientes, facilitando al máximo las operaciones de confirming.

• Revisar y asegurar que toda la documentación de los clientes esté siempre al día y conforme a nuestros estándares.

• Garantizar la mejor experiencia para el cliente, equilibrando un servicio excelente con la estricta aplicación de los procedimientos internos para proteger a la empresa y evitar riesgos operativos.

• Coordinar y colaborar estrechamente con otras áreas clave (como riesgos, legal o cobros) para asegurar que cada operación fluya sin fricciones.

• Tienes una licenciatura en Administración de Empresas u otro campo relevante

• Tienes un mínimo de 1 a 2 años de experiencia en un puesto de administración, preferiblemente en el ámbito de la banca o los servicios financieros

• Tienes una gran capacidad de análisis y eres responsable, organizado/a y preciso/a en tu trabajo

• Trabajas en equipo; eres flexible, enérgico/a y capaz de desenvolverte en un entorno que cambia rápidamente

• Te presentas como una persona proactiva y orientada a los resultados

• No tienes miedo de pensar y ver más allá para resolver problemas

• Tienes ganas de aprender y desarrollarte profesionalmente

• Eres un/a solucionador/a de problemas dedicado/a con excelentes habilidades interpersonales

• Tienes una buena capacidad de redacción, sabiendo plasmar correctamente tus ideas por escrito

• Tienes habilidades de coordinación de proyectos - resultados a tiempo trabajando con equipos funcionales cruzados
