OT Security and Networks Consultant

Your mission will be to design and implement secure OT network architectures for industrial environments.

And what does the role involve? The day-to-day work is very varied, but some of the tasks you will take part in are: 

• Cybersecurity and OT network architecture projects in the food manufacturing, distribution logistics and other industrial sectors.
• Design of segmented network architectures following the Purdue model and the zones and conduits model of IEC 62443.
• Selection and configuration of industrial network equipment (switches, firewalls, routers).
• Preparation of formal technical documentation (project reports, network diagrams, regulatory compliance tables).
• You will work in coordination with other team profiles (OT engineering, systems engineering, security engineering) and, on some projects, with other Circles / UNEs.

🌟 What are we looking for?

• We are looking for people with strong organisational skills and impeccable working methods; in this team, everyone contributes. 
• At Nunsys Group, teamwork is essential. We support each other to overcome any challenge and achieve our goals as a team.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working with industrial networks or OT environments (not exclusively IT).
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Electronic Engineering. A Higher Level Training Cycle in Telecommunications Systems or Automation with equivalent demonstrable experience will also be considered.
• Practical knowledge of network segmentation and security zone architectures.
• Experience with CLI configuration on at least one industrial networking manufacturer.
• Understanding of basic IEC 62443 concepts (zones, conduits, security levels SL).
• Ability to produce clear, well-structured technical documentation.
• Certification in industrial networks from a relevant manufacturer (for example Siemens CPIN / CEIN or equivalent in the Rockwell/Schneider ecosystem).
• Certified knowledge or accredited training in IEC 62443 (Fundamentals level).

• Minimum B2 technical English for reading manufacturer documentation (SIOS, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
• Driving licence, as projects may require travel to plant sites.
• Additional valued skills: ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, willingness for ongoing training on new manufacturers, good client communication in technical meetings.
• Valuable certifications such as:

-Fortinet NSE (any level, especially NSE 4 or higher focused on FortiGate).

-Palo Alto Networks certification (PCNSA or PCNSE).

-Specific training in Nozomi Networks or equivalent OT monitoring platforms.

-ISA/IEC certification in industrial cybersecurity

Y el proyecto ¿en qué consiste? El día a día es muy variado, pero algunas de las funciones en las que participarás son: 

• Proyectos de ciberseguridad y arquitectura de redes OT en sectores de fabricación alimentaria, logística de distribución y otros entornos industriales.
• Diseño de arquitecturas de red segmentadas siguiendo el modelo Purdue y el modelo de zonas y conductos de IEC 62443
• Selección y configuración de equipos de red industrial (switches, firewalls, routers).
• Elaboración de documentación técnica formal (memorias de proyecto, diagramas de red, tablas de cumplimiento normativo).
• Trabajarás en coordinación con otros perfiles del equipo (ingeniería OT, ingeniería de sistemas, ingeniería de seguridad) y, en algunos proyectos, con otros Circulos / UNEs.

• Comprensión de conceptos básicos de IEC 62443 (zonas, conductos, niveles de seguridad SL).
• Capacidad de elaborar documentación técnica clara y estructurada.
• Certificación en redes industriales de algún fabricante relevante (por ejemplo Siemens CPIN / CEIN o equivalente en el ecosistema Rockwell/Schneider).
• Conocimiento certificado o formación acreditada en IEC 62443 (nivel Fundamentals).
