24/7 Monitoring Technician

Your mission will be to ensure the continuity of technology services through constant supervision of the infrastructure..

And what does the project involve? The day-to-day is very varied, but some of the functions you will participate in are:

• 24/7 monitoring of systems and applications.
• Diagnosis and resolution of incidents.
• Management of alerts and notifications.
• Escalation of issues to higher-level teams.
• Creation of activity and performance reports.
• Maintaining the operability of critical systems.
• Configuration and adjustment of monitoring tools.
• Backup control and disaster recovery.
• Documentation of procedures and solutions.
• Supervision of communications and networks.
• Remote intervention to resolve incidents on servers and networks.
• Support for the continuous improvement of operational processes.

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in the tasks described above.
• We require at least a vocational training qualification (Intermediate Level) in Computer Science.
• Knowledge of the following is required:
• Communications technologies.
• Virtualization.
• Storage.
• Operating systems.
• Monitoring tool management.
• Incident management.
• Driver's license and own vehicle

Of course! We highly value strong empathy skills when dealing with clients, as well as rigor in following IT processes, as this will be essential to ensure proper incident management.

Additionally, we will consider basic knowledge of Active Directory environments, Windows Server 2008/2012, and associated services (DNS, DHCP, File Services – DFS, Print Services), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V…), and desktop and application virtualization (Citrix).

Please note that the service is provided continuously, so you must be available to work rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday. You must also be able to travel to our offices at the Paterna Technology Park.
