What we're looking for

At least 3 years of experience in the position.
Specific experience in Purchasing and Procurement Operations.
Knowledge of ERP for managing production needs.
Proficiency in SAP R/3.

The role

At onhunters, we are looking for a Planning and Procurement Technician to join a company located in León.

The position will be key to guaranteeing the supply of materials to the factory, coordinating purchase orders, suppliers, and stock levels according to the needs of the production plan.

Your mission will be to coordinate the supply of materials from external suppliers, ensuring their availability in accordance with the production plan. To do this, you will manage purchasing needs, perform follow-ups on orders and deliveries, and analyze inventory levels to optimize stock and guarantee the continuity of productive activity.

What you'll do

Generate purchase orders in SAP.
Manage and perform weekly follow-ups of orders derived from MRP, controlling supplier confirmations.
Generate purchase orders according to demand forecasts and long-term budgets, with horizons exceeding six months.
Review material deliveries weekly and ensure their availability.
Manage returns of non-conforming materials, incidents, and supplier claim reports.
Review the conditioning plan and coordinate with suppliers regarding order advances or delays.
Review supplier invoice blocks and collaborate on their resolution.
Prepare quarterly reports and analyze supplier performance indicators.
Manage purchase orders associated with launches and new products (NPI).
Prepare customs documentation.
Analyze stock levels and propose actions for their reduction and optimization.
