Requirements

What we're looking for

Higher Vocational Training or university degree in Transport and Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, or similar degrees. Master's in International Trade.
1 to 2 years of experience in commercial, customer service, traffic, or operations positions within the logistics sector.
Knowledge of the transport and logistics sector.
Good command of office tools and ease in working with management programs.
Capacity for organization, negotiation, and incident resolution.
Proactive, versatile profile oriented towards the internal client, with communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

We will especially value previous experience in transport or logistics companies, as well as knowledge in rate management, service coordination, and supplier relations.

The role

At onhunters, we are looking for an Inside Sales Forwarding to join a company in the logistics sector, in a position located in the outskirts of Pontevedra.

We are looking for a person with a commercial orientation, negotiation capacity, and communication skills, who will be responsible for managing and developing the relationship with internal clients, identifying their needs, and offering adapted solutions, collaborating closely with the various teams of the organization.

What you'll do

Manage and develop the portfolio of internal clients, identifying their needs and offering suitable logistical solutions.
Handle inquiries and requests, providing information and advice on available services.
Prepare quotes and budgets, following up on proposals.
Negotiate rates and conditions with suppliers, seeking competitiveness and profitability of operations.
Search for and evaluate suppliers, contributing to cost optimization and service quality.
Monitor operations and maintain fluid communication with internal interlocutors to ensure correct coordination.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the proper provision of services and support the department when necessary.
Prepare monitoring reports and participate in the improvement of internal processes.
