At PER SÉ Recursos Humanos, we are looking to recruit a Process and Materials Development Manager for a leading industrial company in its field of activity, during an especially interesting period of growth, investment, and development.

The position joins an industrial environment in which materials, their behavior, and their interaction with production processes play an essential role. We are looking for a person with a good technical background, industrial experience, and a process orientation, who wants to assume a relevant role in materials development, process improvement, and industrialization projects, working very closely to the factory and in collaboration with different areas of the organization.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities

• Participate in the development, formulation, validation, and industrialization of plastic materials, with a special focus on recycled materials, fillers, and additives.

• Work alongside Production in the definition, analysis, and optimization of industrial processes, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions.

• Participate in production trials, testing, and characterization of materials, and in scaling up from laboratory or pilot phase to industrial manufacturing.

• Analyze material and process incidents, identify causes, and propose corrective actions and improvements.

• Participate in the evaluation and approval of raw materials, recovered materials, additives, and new technical solutions.

• Collaborate with Quality in the definition of specifications, testing, control plans, and acceptance criteria.

• Participate in projects related to the transformation and recycling processes of plastic materials.

• Lead and coordinate improvement projects cross-functionally, facilitating collaboration between the different areas involved and ensuring their progress through to implementation.

• Provide technical support to Production, Quality, and Sales.

• Maintain technical dialogue with suppliers and customers when necessary, understanding their needs and translating them into material, product, or process requirements.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
