Materials Technician (Packaging)

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in packaging development, preferably in the cosmetic, consumer goods, or industrial sector.

• Knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, technical specifications, regulations, and design tools.

• We are looking for a proactive, organized person, detail-oriented, with analytical capacity and a good ability to work in a team.

• Experience in supplier management, material approval, and cost optimization will be valued.

• Training in Industrial Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Technology, Product Design, or related areas.

• Participate in the development and industrialization of new containers, packaging, and packaging components.

• Prepare and maintain technical specifications, drawings, material data sheets, and documentation associated with projects.

• Coordinate with the Design, R&D, Purchasing, Quality, Production, and Marketing teams to ensure the correct definition of the packaging.

• Evaluate materials, components, and suppliers, performing follow-up on samples, prototypes, and industrial tests.

• Supervise the performance of functional, compatibility, and resistance testing, as well as container validation.

• Propose improvements aimed at the optimization of cost, quality, functionality, and sustainability of materials.

• Provide technical support during the launch of new products and resolve incidents related to packaging.

• Guarantee that developments comply with established technical, legal, quality, and safety requirements.

• Monday to Friday schedule with a flexible split shift.
