Platform Engineering, Automation and DevOps Manager

We are looking to hire a Platform Engineering, Automation and DevOps Manager, responsible for designing, leading, and consolidating the company's global automation strategy for infrastructure and software platforms, guaranteeing agile, secure, and scalable deployments in hybrid On-Premise and Cloud environments. This position will lead the evolution of the Platform Engineering ecosystem, the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy, corporate CI/CD processes, and the management of the Infrastructure Self-Service Portal (IDP), ensuring maximum resilience of production environments under ITIL and Change Management standards.

• Lead and evolve the Platform IaC, Platform CD, and Platform DevOps teams.
• Drive the Platform Engineering culture through the Internal Developer Portal (IDP), serving the company's various business units.
• Define and maintain the corporate catalog of Blueprints, modules, and templates for VMware vSphere, HPE Greenlake, AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Guarantee the availability, security, and performance of the corporate DevOps ecosystem (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, and integration with BMC Helix ITSM).
• Lead the strategy and evolution of the Infrastructure Self-Service Portal to enable extreme end-to-end automated provisioning.
• Manage the budget associated with automation tools, DevOps platforms, and Cloud consumption, ensuring cost optimization through FinOps practices.
• Supervise licensing and the relationship with technology providers within their scope of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with the Change Management process (RFC/CAB), risk assessments, rollback plans, and maintenance windows.
• Actively participate in Pre-CAB and CAB committees to guarantee the stability of critical business services.
• Collaborate in root cause analysis (RCA), post-mortems, and improvement plans derived from production incidents.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in technological infrastructures, operations, and IT architecture.
• At least 5 years leading Platform, IaC, CI/CD, and DevOps teams.
• Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams in hybrid and internationally distributed environments.
• Solid experience in IT budget management (CapEx/OpEx), technology vendor management, and FinOps practices.
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Packer, CloudFormation, ARM, and/or Bicep.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating pipelines and automations with BMC Helix ITSM.
• Deep knowledge of hybrid and multicloud architectures on VMware, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience working under ITIL v4 frameworks, especially in Change, Incident, and Problem Management.
• Leadership capacity, strategic vision, results orientation, and focus on operational excellence.
