Position: DevOps & Automation Engineer
Location: Madrid

We are looking for a DevOps & Automation Engineer with between 2 and 4 years of experience, who combines a solid foundation in application deployment and maintenance with programming, automation, and systems integration capabilities.

The person will join digital projects for various areas of the company, collaborating with Data, Development, IT, and business teams. Their mission will be to accompany solutions from their development to their production deployment and daily operation, as well as to identify opportunities to simplify processes, automate tasks, and improve application reliability.

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to publish applications and services in a controlled manner.
• Manage containers, configurations, and development, testing, and production environments, in coordination with IT.
• Implement logs, alerts, and controls that allow for monitoring the status of applications and automated processes.
• Automate manual and repetitive tasks using Python, scripts, and corporate tools.
• Develop small APIs, connectors, and utilities that facilitate integration between systems.
• Collaborate on integrations between internal applications, SAP, databases, Excel files, and other corporate platforms.
• Improve the reliability of ETLs and scheduled tasks through validations, retries, and error management.
• Participate in the production deployment of analytics tools, internal applications, and artificial intelligence solutions.
• Work with different business areas to understand needs and translate them into concrete technical improvements.
• Document solutions and apply best practices for secrets management, permissions, and maintenance.

To fit the position, we are looking for professionals who bring:

• Between 2 and 4 years of experience in a role that combines DevOps, development, integration, or automation.
• Education in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Software Engineering, or similar disciplines.
• Practical foundation in Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to program in Python and work with REST APIs and SQL.
• Knowledge of Linux, application configuration, and cloud environment operation.
• Ability to investigate incidents using logs and monitoring tools.
• Ease in understanding business processes and collaborating with technical and functional profiles.

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with FastAPI and applications with a React frontend.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, ClickHouse, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with SAP, Power Automate, and Excel-based process automation.
• Participation in digitalization, analytics, or process improvement projects.
• Familiarity with the deployment and operation of artificial intelligence services.
