Industrial Hydraulic Engineer

What will help you succeed in this project?

• Preferably training in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technologies Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
• Experience and, especially, solid knowledge in industrial hydraulics.
• Experience in the design and interpretation of hydraulic circuits and diagrams.
• Knowledge of pressure, flow rate, and pressure drop calculations.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic pumps, motors, and cylinders, valves and regulation systems, filtration, hoses, fittings, connections, rigid piping, and hydraulic power units.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and manufacturer catalogs and select the most suitable components for each application.
• We preferably seek professionals with 3-5 years of experience in industrial hydraulics, although we are open to other backgrounds that provide solid technical knowledge.

We will especially value experience in hydraulic power units, industrial machinery, hydraulic maintenance, application engineering, or technical assistance and troubleshooting.

It will also be a plus to provide knowledge of proportional hydraulics or servohydraulics, electricity, automation and control, sensors, or hydraulic design and simulation software, as well as experience in mobile machinery, railway, or industrial installations.

A technical level of English that allows working with manufacturer documentation will likewise be valued.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary technical team, being responsible for the design and development of hydraulic solutions: from the analysis of customer needs to the calculation and sizing of the system, the selection of components, and technical support during their manufacture, assembly, and commissioning.

Above all, we are looking for a person with real knowledge of industrial hydraulics, capable of understanding how an installation works in practice, diagnosing problems, and proposing technically viable solutions.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• You will design and develop industrial hydraulic circuits and systems.
• You will perform calculations and sizing of installations, determining flow rates, pressures, velocities, pressure drops, and power requirements.
• You will size rigid and flexible piping, connections, and conduction elements.
• You will prepare and interpret hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• You will select and size pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, regulation systems, filtration, and other hydraulic components.
• You will analyze the needs and technical specifications of each client to define the most suitable solution.
• You will prepare technical specifications and bills of materials (BOM).
• You will coordinate with Purchasing, Workshop, and Production for component selection, manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
• You will perform technical monitoring of projects until their completion.
• You will participate in the resolution of incidents and technical problems, providing solutions from a practical perspective.
• You will contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of technical solutions, components, and processes.
