Reactor and Results Engineering Assistant Technician

What you'll do

Their functions will be :

• Core monitoring (monitoring reactor operation, execution of physical measurements, nuclear tests, calibration of nuclear instrumentation systems).

• Nuclear instrumentation monitoring.

• Carrying out nuclear fuel inspections.

• Carrying out visual inspections of the vessel and internals.

• Monitoring the water-steam cycle, plant balances, and energy production.

Requirements

- Higher Level Vocational Training degree or Specialist Technician (Vocational Training 2), in the specialties of Industrial Mechatronics, Automatic Regulation and Control Systems, Thermal and Fluid Installations, or equivalent degree depending on the experience provided.

- At least 2 years of professional experience in the execution of work in the aforementioned functions.

- Computer skills such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and management programs.

- Recommended B2 level of English in conversation and reading of technical texts. Knowledge of other languages will be valued.

- Geographical mobility (need to reside near the Plant) and availability to live in small towns, as well as availability to periodically be part of on-call teams available to report to the center in case of need outside of working hours. The workplace will be at the Trillo Nuclear Power Plant, Guadalajara.
