Job description

Quirónsalud is looking to add a Hospital Radiophysicist to its team in the city of Barcelona to work at: Centro Médico Teknon, Hospital Quirónsalud Barcelona, Hospital Universitario Dexeus, Hospital El Pilar and Centro Médico Quirónsalud Aribau, supporting the Nuclear Medicine, Radiodiagnosis, and Radiological Protection services, in a multidisciplinary, innovative environment focused on excellence in patient care.

What you'll do

The selected candidate will be responsible, among other duties, for:

Verification and quality control of imaging systems in Nuclear Medicine (2 SPECT/CT, 2 PET/CT).

Patient dose calculation and internal and external dosimetry studies.

Supervision and optimization of image quality and dose in conventional radiodiagnosis, CT, mammography and interventional equipment.

Support for facilities, acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment with radioactive sources or X-ray generators.

Development and monitoring of quality assurance programs.

Implementation of radiological protection measures for patients and staff.

Ongoing internal training in radiation safety and good clinical practices.

Participation in audits (ISO and Joint Commission International) and regulatory compliance in accordance with Royal Decrees: 1029/2022, 1217/2024, 391/2025, 0601/2019, 1085/2009, 1976/1999 and Directive 2013/59/Euratom

Specialist qualification in hospital radiophysics.

Experience in performing and evaluating quality controls of radiodiagnosis equipment.

Up-to-date knowledge of Spanish and European regulations on radiological protection.

Communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Intermediate level of English (valuable).

Good command of computer tools (Matlab, Python, Microsoft Office) and processing and dosimetry software.
