What you'll do

As a General Accountant, reporting to the financial management, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Direct, control, and monitor accounting and administrative activities.
  • Supervise and coordinate the accounts receivable, income audit, night audit, treasury, and warehouse areas.
  • Review and correct daily income entries.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations of accounting accounts and guarantee the correct reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
  • Review and audit payroll.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and closing documentation, and manage accounting closings (monthly, quarterly, and annual) within the established deadlines.
  • Participate in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, corporate financial reports, and variance analysis.
  • Actively participate in internal and external audits of annual accounts.
  • Prepare accounting under the USALI hotel management system.
  • Maintain relationships with banking entities, external auditors, tax advisors, and insurance companies.
