Contract Manager

From Randstad Professional we are looking for a Contract Manager with the following characteristics

1. Ensure, in coordination with the Site Team, that the current Work Programme at all times reflects the obligations and rights under the Contract, and alert of any divergence between the contractual dates and the estimated ones, both for project completion and for any partial milestone that may be contractually enforceable.
2. Review and approve the content of contractual correspondence with the client, subcontractors and third parties, before its sending is authorised by the Project Manager, with the purpose of protecting the company's contractual rights.
3. Prepare the Initial Contract Analysis and the successive Semi-Annual Contract Analyses. Report to the Contract Monitoring Committee and participate in its semi-annual meetings, informing it of the evolution of the main parameters contained in the Semi-Annual Contract Analyses.
4. Identify any "contractual discrepancy" that may alter the obligations and rights under the contract, and if these are affected, prepare and manage the corresponding Change File, or where applicable the possible Claim File, as indicated in the project-specific Contract Management Manual.
5. Deliver, jointly with the Contract Management Director and the Area Contract Management Director, the Initial Training Session to the Site Team, with the aim of making it fully aware of the possible impact of its actions on the company's obligations and rights under the Contract.

Competitive salary and corporate compensation package

· Technical education, Architect, Civil Engineer, or similar.

· Specific training in contract interpretation, applicable legislation, regulations, specifications... etc.

· 10 years of experience in contract management, preferably in large-scale and complex construction projects.

· Proficiency in handling technical documents, work programmes, methodologies for estimating and quantifying claims. Ability to interpret and draft contractual correspondence, and to prepare change files and claims.

· Advanced level of English is valued.

Desde Randstad Professional estamos buscando un o una Contract manager con las siguientes características

1. Asegurar, en coordinación con el Equipo de Obra, que el Programa de Obra vigente refleja en todo momento las obligaciones y derechos bajo el Contrato, y alertar de cualquier divergencia entre las fechas contractuales y las estimadas, tanto para la finalización del proyecto como para cualquier hito parcial que pueda ser contractualmente exigible.
2. Revisar y aprobar el contenido de la correspondencia contractual con el cliente, subcontratistas y terceras partes, antes de la autorización de su envío por parte del Gerente de Proyecto, con el propósito de proteger los derechos contractuales de la compañía.
3. Elaborar el Primer Análisis Contractual y los sucesivos Análisis Contractuales Semestrales Reportar al Comité de Seguimiento Contractual y participar en sus reuniones semestrales, informando al mismo de la evolución de los principales parámetros contenidos en los Análisis Contractuales Semestrales.
4. Identificar cualquier ¿discrepancia contractual¿ que pueda alterar las obligaciones y derechos bajo el contrato, y en caso de que estas se vean afectadas, elaborar y gestionar el correspondiente Expediente de Cambio, o en su caso el posible Expediente de Reclamación, según lo indicado en el Manual de Gestión Contractual específico del proyecto.
5. Impartir, conjuntamente con el Director de Contract Management y el Director de Gestión Contractual de Área, la Sesión Formativa Inicial al Equipo de Obra, con el objetivo de que este sea plenamente consciente del posible impacto de sus actuaciones en las obligaciones y derechos de la compañía bajo el Contrato.

Salario competitivo y paquete retributivo empresarial

· Formación técnica, Arquitecto, Ingeniero Civil, o similar.

· Formación especifica en interpretación de contratos, legislación aplicable, regulaciones, pliegos...etc

· Experiencia de 10 años en la gestión contractual, preferiblemente en proyectos de construcción de gran envergadura y complejidad.

· Solvencia en el manejo de documentos técnicos, programas de obra, metodologías de estimación y cuantificación de reclamaciones. Capacidad para interpretar y redactar correspondencia contractual, y para elaborar expedientes de cambio y reclamaciones.

· Valorable nivel alto de inglés.
