About the role

From Randstad Professional we are looking for a Contract Manager with the following characteristics

What you'll do

  1. Ensure, in coordination with the Site Team, that the current Work Programme at all times reflects the obligations and rights under the Contract, and alert of any divergence between the contractual dates and the estimated ones, both for project completion and for any partial milestone that may be contractually enforceable.
  2. Review and approve the content of contractual correspondence with the client, subcontractors and third parties, before its sending is authorised by the Project Manager, with the purpose of protecting the company's contractual rights.
  3. Prepare the Initial Contract Analysis and the successive Semi-Annual Contract Analyses. Report to the Contract Monitoring Committee and participate in its semi-annual meetings, informing it of the evolution of the main parameters contained in the Semi-Annual Contract Analyses.
  4. Identify any "contractual discrepancy" that may alter the obligations and rights under the contract, and if these are affected, prepare and manage the corresponding Change File, or where applicable the possible Claim File, as indicated in the project-specific Contract Management Manual.
  5. Deliver, jointly with the Contract Management Director and the Area Contract Management Director, the Initial Training Session to the Site Team, with the aim of making it fully aware of the possible impact of its actions on the company's obligations and rights under the Contract.

· Technical education, Architect, Civil Engineer, or similar.

· Specific training in contract interpretation, applicable legislation, regulations, specifications... etc.

· Proficiency in handling technical documents, work programmes, methodologies for estimating and quantifying claims. Ability to interpret and draft contractual correspondence, and to prepare change files and claims.
