What we're looking for

-Have a disability certificate

-Be in possession of a High School Diploma (Bachiller), Intermediate Vocational Training (Formación Profesional de Grado Medio), or similar.

-Accredited experience in the handling and digitization of historical documents of at least one year.

-Accredited experience in digitization work with documents using Zeutschel overhead scanners (A0 and A2) and Copibook (Limb Capture Software) or equivalents, large format, and photographs of at least three years.

-In Photoshop handling for digital image processing of at least three years.

The role

What you'll do

-Capture of images from documents of different formats and media following the instructions of the technical management of the works and the digitization protocol for conservation, consultation, and dissemination of the Administration and Public Sector of the Community of Madrid.

-Processing of the captured images in digital format. Includes cropping images, straightening them, retouching digital photographic images, removing black borders, correcting image alignment, inserting watermarks, etc.

-Conversion of images from one format to another (TIFF to JPG and PDF).

-Preparation of multi-page PDF files in cases of documentary units composed of several digital images (files, registry books, etc.).

Insertion of metadata.

--File validation.

Correction of errors detected in quality controls and in subsequent archival processes.

-Preparation of control instruments.

-Preparation and delivery of a monthly report of the work performed.
