Operations and Business Development Manager

• Project and Challenge: Joining a business project in solid expansion, backed by a consolidated group.
• Autonomy: High-responsibility position with direct communication with ownership and real capacity for impact on decision-making.

Education: University Degree in Engineering (Naval, Telecommunications, Industrial, Computer Science, or similar).

Previous experience: Experience in companies in a growth phase, valued within the naval, fishing, or industrial sector, with a specific focus on systems digitalization and product development (not traditional shipbuilding).

Management experience: Track record in managing technical teams, budget control, and reporting to Management/CEOs.

Languages: Fluent English (essential for technical environments and sectoral communication).

• Availability to travel.
• Comprehensive and strategic business vision, capacity for autonomous management, with a focus on meeting deadlines.

Do you have experience in managing engineering projects within the naval/fishing sector and the ambition to lead a new technological project in full expansion?

• Translate commercial needs and requirements into technical specifications and feasible engineering projects.
• Directly lead and supervise the engineering team.
• Perform continuous technical monitoring of developments, guaranteeing the quality and adequacy of naval digitalization and defense solutions.
• Define, structure, and drive the roadmap for the management of technological products oriented towards their commercialization in the market.
• Identify, channel, and structure R&D project ideas with a clear focus on commercial applicability.
• Supervise and manage the technical processing of R&D&i projects for public calls and funding programs.
• Guarantee rigorous compliance with the deadlines, milestones, and deliverables of each of the engineering projects.
• Prepare engineering budgets, investment proposals, and economic plans to present to the CEOs / Board of Directors.
• Identify problems or obstacles in technical operations and present structured solutions to facilitate decision-making by Management.
• Maintain total alignment with the strategic and financial guidelines set by the Board of Directors.
• Manage the relationship, monitoring, and collaboration with external agents, technological partners, and associations within the maritime and fishing sector.
