Digital Printer (Large Format)

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years in similar positions within graphic arts or industrial finishing.
• Knowledge: Demonstrable experience in cutting machinery (POS) and packaging techniques.
• Command skills: Great capacity for leadership, organization, and attention to detail.
• Essential: Valid forklift license and own vehicle to access the workplace.
• Residence: Preferably in Ripollet or surrounding areas.

Your main functions include:

• Prepress and file preparation: Review of formats, fonts, bleeds, resolution, and color profiles (CMYK) of the client's final files before sending them to production.
• Machinery setup and calibration: Adjustment of parameters on digital printers (color, paper type, thickness, alignment) and calibration to guarantee color fidelity and quality.
• Operation of the printing process: Loading of substrates/materials (vinyl, paper, canvas, cardboard, etc.), launching of print queues from the RIP (Raster Image Processor), and continuous supervision during the run.
• Quality control: Continuous visual inspection to detect registration errors, spots, misalignments, or variations in tones.
• Post-printing finishing: Performing or supporting cutting tasks (plotter/guillotine), creasing, plastifying, laminating, binding, or die-cutting according to the job specifications.
• Maintenance and supplies management: Preventive technical cleaning of equipment, resolution of minor jams, and inventory control of inks, toners, spare parts, and printing media.
