Food Industry Machine Operator

A mid-level or higher degree in mechanics is valued.

Knowledge of machinery in an industrial environment: vertical form-fill-seal machines, fryers, roasters, extruders, etc.

Knowledge of industrial processes such as baking, roasting, extrusion, or frying.

Certification in food safety and quality is valued.

At least 2 years of experience in an industrial company in the food sector is required, especially in these fields:

Vertical gravimetric packaging machines.

Automatic cartoning equipment (e.g., Blueprint)

Experience in industrial roasting, frying, extrusion, and baking processes.

Do you have experience as a machine operator in the food industry? At Randstad, we are looking for candidates like you!

You will be responsible for operating the equipment assigned to the line efficiently to achieve the production

planned within the required timeframe.

You will distribute line operators according to the captain's or line structure's instructions and according to

the theoretical production plan established by machine.

You will monitor and follow up on the production order provided to you, ensuring a balance of line references

efficiently according to instructions and priorities. In the event of any unforeseen issue, you will act according to

the guidelines previously established by your supervisor.

You will carry out your tasks with attention to final product quality.

You will perform the controls and inspections established in the quality system, ensuring that packaged products

meet standards. This includes monitoring and performing checks related to CCPs.

You will ensure the proper condition of the equipment you operate to guarantee safety (occupational risk prevention) and efficiency of your line; for this purpose,

you will report any incident to be resolved through the established channels.

You will carry out the necessary maintenance work orders in each case (maintenance notifications).

You will be responsible for efficient consumption of raw materials on your line, minimizing waste.

Responsible for executing all established procedures regarding product control, at the required frequency and

quality, and for the corresponding recording in the management system (SAP, etc.).

You will record in the system the incidents on your line and the losses, as well as operating and downtime and the personnel

assigned.

You will record in the system (when required depending on the line being managed) the consumption of raw materials

used, accurately allocating quantities and batches to ensure traceability.
