About the role

At RDT, we are looking for a Stress Engineer to join a high-level aeronautical project, participating in the development and certification of the primary wing structure.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the sizing and structural validation of the metallic wing box, ensuring compliance with strength requirements and first-flight certification.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities

• Manual structural calculations on metallic wing components
• Analysis of supports for systems installed on the wing
• Extraction of internal loads using FEM models (GFEM)
• Coordination with design (Siemens NX)
• Verification of safety margins
• Preparation of technical reports for certification

What we're looking for

Requirements

• Experience as a Stress Engineer
• Knowledge of structural calculation and strength of materials
• Experience with FEM tools (NASTRAN, ANSYS, FEMAP)
• Ability to analyze and interpret results
• Technical English

Nice to have

• Experience in aeronautics
• Knowledge of classical methods (Bruhn, Niu)
• Familiarity with EASA / FAA Part 23 or Part 25 regulations
