Generic – Stress Engineer – Wing Structure

At RDT, we are looking for a Stress Engineer to join a high-level aeronautical project, participating in the development and certification of the primary wing structure.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the sizing and structural validation of the metallic wing box, ensuring compliance with strength requirements and first-flight certification.

Main responsibilities

• Manual structural calculations on metallic wing components
• Analysis of supports for systems installed on the wing
• Extraction of internal loads using FEM models (GFEM)
• Coordination with design (Siemens NX)
• Verification of safety margins
• Preparation of technical reports for certification

Requirements

• Experience as a Stress Engineer
• Knowledge of structural calculation and strength of materials
• Experience with FEM tools (NASTRAN, ANSYS, FEMAP)
• Ability to analyze and interpret results
• Technical English

• Experience in aeronautics
• Knowledge of classical methods (Bruhn, Niu)
• Familiarity with EASA / FAA Part 23 or Part 25 regulations
• Experience with Siemens NX

Desde RDT, buscamos un/a Analista de Esfuerzos para incorporarse a un proyecto aeronáutico de alto nivel, participando en el desarrollo y certificación de la estructura primaria del ala.
La persona seleccionada será responsable de realizar el dimensionamiento y validación estructural del cajón alar metálico, asegurando el cumplimiento de los requisitos de resistencia y certificación para primer vuelo.

Responsabilidades principales

• Cálculos estructurales manuales sobre componentes del ala metálica
• Análisis de soportes de sistemas instalados en el ala
• Extracción de cargas internas mediante modelos FEM (GFEM)
• Coordinación con diseño (Siemens NX)
• Verificación de márgenes de seguridad
• Elaboración de informes técnicos para certificación

Requisitos

• Experiencia como Analista de Esfuerzos o Stress Engineer
• Conocimiento en cálculo estructural y resistencia de materiales
• Experiencia con herramientas FEM (NASTRAN, ANSYS, FEMAP)
• Capacidad de análisis e interpretación de resultados
• Inglés técnico

Valorable

• Experiencia en aeronáutica
• Conocimiento de métodos clásicos (Bruhn, Niu)
• Familiaridad con normativa EASA / FAA Part 23 o Part 25
• Experiencia con Siemens NX
