The main requirements we are looking for are: University degree (STEM). High practical knowledge of predictive/prescriptive models, Machine/Deep Learning techniques, and language models (LLM) and generative AI. High standards of digital ethics, especially regarding the ethical and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence. Proficiency in Python. Solid concepts and practical application of software engineering. Knowledge of rapid prototyping languages. Experience in developing statistical and predictive/prescriptive models. Experience in the MS Azure technology stack and its solutions oriented towards AA/AI (highly recommended). Experience in projects of various scales (highly valued if international) under agile methodologies. B2 English level. We will value very positively if you have previous experience in the insurance sector, although it is not indispensable.

At Reale ITES, part of Reale Group, we are opening a Data Scientist position to join the Group Data Science Centre of Excellence.
What will you have to do?
The main mission of the Data Scientist role is to act as a link between the company's business needs and advanced analytics, translating corporate requirements into quantitative models, prototypes, and Artificial Intelligence solutions. To this end, the selected person is responsible for developing pilot solutions, coordinating technical deliverables in multidisciplinary teams, presenting results to non-technical audiences, and researching innovative techniques that drive data-based decision-making.
Some of the more specific functions
Understand the needs of the business lines and know how to translate them into terms of data analysis and quantitative models of Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
Develop knowledge of the collected data and its structure, as well as the systems in which they are contained, to the extent necessary for the successful performance of their activity.
Develop rapid prototypes and pilot solutions that allow business areas to better understand the proposed Data Science solutions.
Analyze and evaluate make/buy options to provide solutions to business needs and the strategy defined by the organization, collaborating with external providers and solution manufacturers.
Present results to a non-technical audience, both through regular reports and in meetings and presentations.
Participate in multidisciplinary teams (Business, Data/AI/Visualization Engineers, IT Architects, SW Engineers) in the different projects where required.
For specific AI Systems, coordinate and develop the technical deliverables of E2E solutions alongside the development team (Data Scientists, Data Engineers, AI Engineers, MLOps engineers, Data Visualization Engineers, SW Engineers,...)
Research new techniques within the disciplines under their competence (Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence) and suggest and drive data-driven changes that contribute to improving Business results.
