At Aduanas Alié, we are looking for a Customs Declarant with experience in customs management and document processing, capable of ensuring accurate, efficient operations that fully comply with current regulations.

Job mission:

- Facilitate the import and export of goods subject to customs inspection and apply current, legally established commercial policy measures.

Position dimensions:

What you'll do

Responsibilities:

- Facilitate the import and export of goods subject to customs inspection and apply current and legally established trade policy measures.

- Be registered in the Register of Customs Representatives of the Department of Customs and Special Taxes of the Tax Agency.

- Stay up to date with legal information on regulations related to international trade and current customs regulations, as well as follow the development of amendments to laws and administrative regulations by the European Union.

- Determine the correct classification and dutiable value of the product, according to its quotas, restrictions, and customs controls, in accordance with rules of origin and agreements with other countries or groups established by the EU.

- Resolve issues arising in these operations.

- Carry out the compliance of assigned controls and procedures regarding Compliance.

Tasks:

- Create the request and obtain the customs services that goods require for their proper clearance through customs.

- Process and handle ongoing clearance requests.

- Oversee, advise, and support the importer and the exporter of the goods.

- Act as a mediating party between importer and exporter when necessary.

- Ensure compliance with the legal requirements of all operations.

- Advise and support the client on customs matters, providing accurate and up-to-date information on changes, trends, and statistics.

- Open case files by entering data into the computer system to assign them a reference number.

- Prepare all necessary client documentation, depending on the type of goods and country, and draft the SAD (Single Administrative Document).

- Interact with the client to clarify any questions or issues regarding the necessary documentation.

- Submit the SAD via the network connection for its registration and numbering.

- Transfer the submitted declarations to the digital archive at the AEAT (Spanish Tax Agency).

- In the case of an "orange channel," present the file to Customs for document review and clearance (green channel). Manage the dossier with all the documentation submitted for archiving.

- In the case of a "red channel," arrange for the goods to be placed in a position for inspection by Customs, and update the dossier.

- Issue certificates of origin, according to the agreement the EU has with the destination country, certifying compliance with current regulations.

- Education: Higher Degree in Training Cycles (CFGS) and Logistics.
