At Rhenus, we are looking for a new Traffic Operative to join our team in Las Palmas.

Your mission is to act as a specialist in goods transport and logistics to guarantee the efficient and timely delivery of products. This role is vital for the proper management of transport, communication with transport service providers as well as with correspondents and partners, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. The Traffic Operative is responsible, as a specialist, for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.

What you'll do

Manage transport routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Review scheduling and assignment of vehicles and drivers.
Manage transport indicators and make adjustments as necessary.
Implement, as a specialist, and maintain transport management systems (TMS).
Proper management of transport service providers.
Maintain good relationships with carriers and logistics providers.
Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety policies.
Maintain accurate records of all transport and logistics activities.
Manage and resolve incidents related to the transport of goods.
