About the Position
We are looking to incorporate a Hostess / Host of Gastronomic Spaces to join our team in Madrid. This role will be key to ensuring that our quality and service standards continue to make a difference in our guests' experience. What you'll do

  • Reservation Control and Management: Efficiently administer and optimize the reservation book for the hotel's different gastronomic spaces and events using digital tools and PMS systems, ensuring maximum occupancy and service foresight.

  • Access and Capacity Control: Supervise entry points to sales outlets in an organized manner (such as access flow to the Rooftop Bar 360º), manage waiting times courteously, and ensure compliance with the establishment's safety and capacity regulations.

  • Guest Welcome and Orientation: Receive hotel guests and external customers with warm, elegant, and professional attention, acting as a brand ambassador for RIU and providing clear guidance on our gastronomic and service offerings.

  • Guest Seating Assistance: Coordinate the assignment of available seats in the dining room or terrace and accompany diners to their respective tables in a courteous manner, ensuring optimal handover and information flow to the waitstaff team.

  • Billing and Ticket Payment Management: Actively collaborate in operational cashier tasks under supervision, processing ticket or bill payments from customers, issuing invoices, and performing basic control of shift cash register closures.

  • Complaint and Claim Management: Address any initial doubts, dissatisfaction, or claims from users with empathy, assertiveness, and speed, resolving basic access issues or channeling complex requests efficiently to the dining room management.
