Team Leaders – Mahón Airport

JOB DESCRIPTION

Azul Handling is looking for Team Leaders for the summer season at Mahón Airport. The Team Leader is the person responsible for the aircraft departure process, maintaining direct and continuous communication with the flight crew and ensuring that all parties involved comply with established procedures to guarantee safety throughout the entire process. The tasks that may be required include the following:

• Proactively control and supervise all auxiliary services (fuel, PMR, catering, boarding bridges, etc.) involved in the turnaround, in coordination with all parties involved.
• Be aware of all start and end times of any auxiliary service and be able to identify the causes of a possible delay.
• Conduct "pre-turnaround" briefings with the assigned work group(s) before the aircraft arrives and at the corresponding stand, informing them of the relevant details of the flight to be dispatched, as well as reviewing safety and "Just Culture" procedures to ensure a safe and punctual dispatch.
• Conduct a "post-turnaround" briefing with the work group(s) involved after the aircraft's departure and still at the corresponding stand, reviewing and assessing the turnaround and, in the event of a delay and/or incidents, identifying the causes that led to it.
• Carry out a visual inspection of the GSE that will be used on the aircraft, once prepared at the ESA and before the aircraft's arrival.
• Assist the cabin crew and/or technical crew when necessary, as well as provide any type of documentation and/or information required by them.

• We offer a competitive gross salary governed by our First Collective Bargaining Agreement, which may be increased by the variables you generate when working split shifts, holidays, Sundays, night shifts, etc., potentially reaching a range of between 22,500 and 25,500 euros gross per year for full-time employment*. This figure will vary depending on seniority, hours worked, or other circumstances governed by our current First Collective Bargaining Agreement.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PUESTO

Azul Handling está buscando Team Leaders para la temporada de verano en el aeropuerto de Mahón. El Team Leader es la persona responsable del proceso de salida de las aeronaves, manteniendo una comunicación directa y continua con la tripulación de vuelo y asegurando que todas las partes involucradas cumplen con los procedimientos establecidos para garantizar la seguridad en todo el proceso. Entre las tareas que se pueden requerir estarán las siguientes:

• Controlar y supervisar de forma proactiva todos los servicios auxiliares (Combustible, PMR, Catering, Pasarelas, etc.) involucrados en la escala, en coordinación con todas las partes involucradas.
• Ser conocedor/a de todas las horas de inicio y fin de cualquier servicio auxiliar y saber identificar las causas de un posible retraso.
• Realizar briefings “pre-escala” con el/los grupo(s) de trabajo asignado(s) antes de la llegada de la aeronave y en el stand correspondiente, informando de los detalles relevantes del vuelo a despachar, así como repasando los procedimientos de seguridad y “Just Culture” para asegurar un despacho seguro y puntual.
• Realizar briefing “pos-escala” con el/los grupo(s) de trabajo involucrado(s) después de la salida de la aeronave y aun en el stand correspondiente, repasando y haciendo valoración de la escala y, en caso de retraso y/o incidencias, identificar las causas que han llevado al / a la mismo/as.
• Llevar a cabo una revisión visual de los GSE que se usarán en la aeronave, una vez preparados en la ESA y antes de la llegada de la aeronave.
• Asistir a la tripulación de cabina y/o tripulación técnica en los casos que sea necesario, así como provisionar de cualquier tipo de documentación y/o información requerida por ellos.
